Thomas Autry was walking home from work the other night in Midtown Atlanta. Near the corner of 4th Street and Penn Avenue. (Link is to a Google Mapped Satellite image of the area.) Mr. Autry is a former Marine and was simply trying to live life the way any good American should. As he walked, he heard a car rev it’s engine. He thought it was a police car and the cops were going to tell him to get out of the neighborhood. Now why would he think that? Because he’s a Black man and sadly it seems Mr. Autry has fallen for some of the hype that evil White cops are out to get him. When in reality an incident with evil White cops is rare. Most cops are good and do their job to the best of their ability. But there is something bad that happens to Black men far more often. It is very common and the true source of many good Black mens’ problems in America. The problem for a good Black man in America is Black thugs that want to steal, kill and destroy anyone good that comes near them.

As a Black man, I don’t worry about the Klan. I don’t fear some racist cop trying to beat me like Rodney King. (Because I’d never do what Rodney King did to have cops after him in the first place.) When it comes to something that concerns me regarding myself or my family being harmed, it is Black thuggery! Blacks that adore the thuggism in Hip Hop and desire to do crime. Why does this concern me? Because every time I’ve been the victim of crime in the streets or in my home, or a member of my family has faced the same, or a Black friend of mine has faced the same, it has almost always been at the hands of some Black thugs. (I and the others I’m talking about all live in mostly White areas, but still it seems Black thugs prey on us!) God as my witness, if not for Black thugs I’d never be able to say I’ve ever personally been the victim of crime in my entire life. So when it comes to race and being treated badly, I have concerns about the same ones that have caused me and my loved ones strife our entire lives, Black thugs.

Sure thugs come in all colors, shapes and sizes, but what can I say, being Black I’ve found that the Black thug loves to try and prey on me. The White thugs, Latino thugs, Asian thugs and others leave me alone. I think things like “hate crimes” laws will keep people doing crime in their “own tribe” if you get my drift. So the “hate crimes” laws don’t help me at all and never did. Because the Black thugs that hate me don’t get any extra penalty under “hate crimes” laws. I’ve heard tales all my life of evil Whites looking to take me down, but all I’ve experienced are evil Black thugs tearing at me and my loved ones every chance they get. Black thugs have killed and continue to kill far more Blacks than racist Whites of the past ever lynched!

OK, now back to Mr. Autry. It turns out a band of Black thugs selected him for a mugging and possible killing. They chased him down the street. He ran yelling “fire” and after some running decided he was going to have to stand his ground. There were 5 thugs, armed with a shotgun, a pistol and a pair of brass knuckles. Mr. Autry only had a pocket knife. Guess who won? Mr. Autry killed one of the thugs (a female) and cut another (a male) pretty good. They had to give up and all 4 of the remaining living thugs are now in police custody! YEAAAA!!! Mr. Autry protected himself and saved a community from a band of thugs, that cops knew had been operating in the area for some time. Is he a hero? You better believe he is! But Mr. Autry and CNN don’t see it that way.

Notice how CNN acts as if saving a community from a thug is not a heroic act! And Mr. Autry is sad he had to kill someone. I can understand Mr. Autry feeling some remorse, but he should not feel sorry for what he had to do. He did the right thing. And it’s sad that CNN makes it seem that having to kill a thug is not an honorable deed.

The Gwinnett Daily Post has a different spin of Mr. Autry’s remorse, that is much more appropriate.

Maybe that’s why Gwinnett Daily Post circulation is going up, while the circulation of the Atlanta Journal Constitution Constipation is going down!

The girl he stabbed, Amy Martin, 17, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The accomplice who was wounded, Christopher Daniel, 17, was listed in critical condition at Atlanta Medical Center, Abernathy said.
Daniel and three other youths involved in the robbery — a 16-year-old and 17-year-olds Kendall Barksdale and Christopher Hayes — were charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery.

I don’t care what any says, Thomas Autry is a hero and he can walk the streets of my neighborhood any time he wants to day or night . We all need a neighborhood watch commander like him. And of course our soldiers fighting for freedom overseas are heroes as well. No wonder Mr. Autry served with them.

And I think Mr. Autry has put this attack on his life in appropriate terms.

He also mentioned that he feels they should be tried as terrorists. I agree with that. Thugs like the ones that attacked him have had a reign of terror in some communities for far too long.

What makes matters even more insane, is that some of the kids in this band of thugs were living relatively good lives, outside of their lives of crime.

I’ve seen this far too often. Kids doing well join into the thuggism of the streets because of the crap culture they join into of their own free will. The crap that goes into their ears and they hear from other idiots inspires them to become idiots too. It’s an amazing sight to see, but I’ve seen it far too many times. This is why it’s important for parents to stay on top of their kids’ and know what they are taking in from the outside world. Kids that get into mess like this are not listening to much that is wholesome.

The daughter of Mr. Autry’s girlfriend said she knows the suspects and attended middle and high school with them. This is not unusual. Kids go to the same school and some choose to become thugs, while others do not. This proves that the idiots make the choice to lead a life of crime.

And to top it all off, Mr. Autry only had $8.00 in his pocket! I’ve heard of people being robbed, who did not have much money and the thug looking at them and saying “that’s all you’ve got” and then shooting them. Out of anger for the victim not having more money for their trouble.

The new immigration bill (the most “sweeping reform in 50 years”) S. 2611 is an amalgam of petty causes, illogical provisions, unstructured “solutions” with zero allowances for implementation, and self-contradictory language. Despite the mess, it was passed by self-righteous politicians who repeated the mantra “it’s better than doing nothing.” This from the same gaggle of do-nothings who outright rejected the House’s law enforcement bill.

Here is yet another crime more terrible than even rape in Durham, NC. I’m sure those who claim to “demand justice” in the Duke lacrosse rape case will say nothing about this case. They will continue to seek the conviction of any current and/or former Duke lacrosse players, despite the shaky evidence.

Since the Duke lacrosse rape case has put the media and blogospheric spotlight on Durham, North Carolina there have been other far more serious crimes reported in the area, but nobody seems to have a desire to speak out about them. A 77 year old minister was murdered, police are still trying to find their primary suspect in that case. And now there is finally going to be a trial for the murder of a peacemaker. These people were trying to do good, live right and were killed. As far as we know they never had issues with the law. When will the “no justice no peace” criers lead a rally for them?

If you want to know how to do something wrong as President, you ask Jimmy Carter. And when the Ultra Liberal Jimmy Carter says you did something right on a controversial issue, you might want to try doing it a different way.

This weekend CNN’s Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer aired an interview Mr. Blitzer had with former President Carter.

Former President Carter claimed HR4437, a bill that really would have helped to prevent illegal immigration, is racist because it would affect a certain group of people. In other words, if non-Whites break the law and are treated like criminals, than such enforcement is racist. Because it would affect “a particular class of people”. The man’s White Guilt does nothing for legal minorities looking for a job.

Like Mexican President Vicente Fox, Jimmy Carter loves Bush’s immigration reform amnesty, that is what we know as the McCain-Kennedy bill. There are some who are not falling for Carter’s far left race baiting lunacy.

Loony Liberal Carter is against English being the official language of the USA, because the USA has not had an official language before. He ignores that here in Georgia, English is already the official language of the state. It’s bad enough that he embarrasses this state as a former governor turned President, but now he claims the Federal government doing what has been done in his own home state for years is a bad idea. It’s a common sense idea, because it prevents the government from having to make translated copies of documents for every language under the sun. And with all the non-English speakers already here in Georgia, we see it never hurt them much. But it does save the state money. As it would everyone if enacted at the federal level.

When people are allowed to kill babies at will, it seems some people will kill a child for any reason. Even if the baby is not what they would view as being “perfect”.

It seems the desire to be glamorous is causing some people to do something that is very ugly. I was born with six fingers, a dominate trait I inherited from my father. Being a dominate genetic trait, Adam himself probably had a good use for the additional digit during his time. We get along fine with 5 fingers (and 5 toes) now and many of us born with the additional digit(s) often have a watered down form of additional digit(s). So it would not be useful to many of us born with one. The doctor simply cuts it off at birth. It’s a simple procedure like circumcision. It does not have any adverse impact, so I have no clue why anyone would get hung up over knowing their child might have an additional digit. I think having this dominate trait is a bit of a blessing. Although it’s more of a nuisance than benefit at birth, it’s just nice to know I carry the trait.

Killing babies for such foolish reasons is what happens when child killing is a commonly accepted activity. We are spinning closer to Western societies being much like the movie Gattaca. I’d recommend everyone check that movie out.

Today we remember the sacrifices of those who helped make the USA a great nation. My thanks goes to all who have served and especially died for this great nation.

If all the other details were not enough to produce reasonable doubt, then the words of the accuser herself should be more than enough. I’ve already decided she’s lying given all the findings by the defense, so nothing shocks me at this point.

The accuser explicitly told the first police officer on the scene that she was not raped. Also there was more than one photo line-up. In a previous photo line-up she did not pick David Evans, the person she picked in a later line-up, but claimed he had a mustache, when he never did.

Sgt. J.C. Shelton was the first cop on the scene at the house and the Kroger. Here are some interesting details from his notes.

— The owner of the car told Shelton that she had been driving down Buchanan Boulevard and saw the other woman — now in her passenger seat — walking along the street and that a group of white men at 610 N. Buchanan Blvd. were yelling racial slurs at her, so she offered her a ride to safety. (In fact, though, the car owner was Roberts, the second dancer.)

– The woman in the passenger seat was “wearing a see-through red outfit, with no undergarments and one white high-heel shoe.” She appeared unconscious, so Shelton got an ammonia capsule from his car. In response to the capsule, the woman began “mouth breathing, which is a sign that she was not really unconscious,” Shelton wrote.

– Shelton said he tried to pull the woman from the car, but that she grabbed the emergency brake handle to keep from being pulled out. He finally got her out and she collapsed on the ground.

– Because the woman wouldn’t tell officers her name or where she lived, they decided to take her to the Durham Access Center, a mental health and substance abuse facility. There, the woman said she had been raped at 610 N. Buchanan. So Shelton directed that she be transferred to Duke University Hospital’s emergency room.

– At Duke, the accuser told Shelton she was a stripper and had been hired to dance at 610 N. Buchanan Blvd. After their show, she said, she and the other dancer got in a car to leave, but that some of the men wanted them to go back inside. “She said at the point some of the guys from the party pulled her from the vehicle and groped her. She told me that no one forced her to have sex,” Shelton wrote.

– Shelton went outside to call his watch commander to tell him the woman had recanted her rape allegation. But then someone told him the woman told a doctor that she had been raped. Shelton called the watch commander back to tell him “she had changed her story back to being raped.”

– Shelton went back inside and asked the woman “if she had or had not been raped. She told me she did not want to talk to me anymore and then started crying and saying something about them dragging her into the bathroom.”

Seems someone raped would not want to avoid telling their story to a police officer. And we know she’s done the passed out thing in the past.

Other details DA Mike Nifong may not have turned over to the defense.

The defense motion filed Friday says that, “incredibly,” the information provided by Nifong contains no record about the woman’s time at Durham Access Center. Nor does it contain reports by two other police officers who were involved in the situation that night, the motion complains.

In addition, Nifong provided documentation pertaining to only five of 17 sections of a Sexual Assault Exam Report, the motion adds, indicating that the exam was performed by an in-training forensic nurse.

Given the Mexican government has been touting the sell-out of our National Security, it looks like the illegals are rushing the border with docs that claim they have been in the USA for 5 years or more.

Well we were warned it was going to pass the Senate and it did. The so-called Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006 - S. 2611 passed by a vote of 62-36. Two Senators (Rockefeller [D-WV] and Salazar [D-CO]) did not vote, so all that applies to those who voted in favor of this applies to them. They tried to keep their hands out of it, but I’m treating all who did not vote “NO” the same!

As I mentioned earlier, all who voted in favor are now on the slate to be voted out of office.

But given Lott has endorsed McCain for President, we can’t trust him. So it would be best if he went the way of the other 64. That means we have at least 65 weak and pandering Senators that need to go, in order for us to even begin to think we can properly secure this nation. And we know Robert “KKK” Byrd is not the kind of Senator that should be kept around. Although he’s shown that he’s only half crazy and was sane on this vote, he’s got to go, but not for this critical matter of national security. Byrd should go just because he’s the poster Senator of why term limits are necessary. He’s got enough history of running with the Left and running with the racists, that he needs to be sent packing.

If this legislation is not put to a halt in the House of Representatives, the results will be terrible.

Earlier today Sean Hannity held what I call a border debate 2-man tag team match. In the corner of border defenders were (my pick for President) Senator Rick Santorum and Congressman J.D. Hayworth. In the corner of all who care about anything but national security were (he’ll never be President now) Senator Lindsey Graham and Congressman Jim Kolbe. Because of the time this radio debate took place, it probably was the last public debate by people in Congress before the bill passed the Senate.

Last night right here in Gwinnett County, Georgia there was the start of what will be a series of Fair Tax rallies across the nation. An effort to promote HR 25 aka The Fair Tax. Speakers at the rally were co-author of The Fair Tax Book Neal Boortz, Sean Hannity, Herman Cain, Clark Howard, John Stossel (as a reporter he cannot “officially” endorse a tax proposal, but he was there and spoke), Ken Hoagland - Spokesman for Americans for Fair Taxation, Congressman John Linder, Royal Marshall and Belinda Skelton. Music was provided by Banks & Shane.

Initially I was planning to attend, but when I realized I would never be able to get there early enough to beat the crowd, I had to pass on going. Fortunately WSB-AM aired the rally live. (Boortz was able to convince the station to air it at the last minute. There was no promotion of it being aired until just before the rally, so it probably was a last minute agreement to air it.) I was able to start capturing the audio just after some kids were giving some quotes about taxation and Boortz was taking the stage. So you can say the audio link below has it all minus the kids .

Whether you are for the Fair Tax or wondering about it, you want to check out this audio. Because not only was HR 25 promoted, but many of the questions asked about how it would affect taxation were answered.
