Duke Lacrosse Rape Case is Getting Shaky! (*UPDATED, NO DNA MATCH!!!*)

by @ 4:35 pm. Filed under Questionable Items

I was previously of the opinion that the rape probably occurred, but I guess that’s the impression that you get when you hear the accuser’s story first. Now I’m hearing that a 911 call, that was supposed to be from an unrelated event of the players calling some women on the street “niggers” was possibly a hoax! A hoax spun by one of the dancers that was in the house. So says the defense, but that’s a pretty strong statement. And if sound tests confirm it’s the same woman then this entire case is toast.

La Shawn Barber has that and more in her great commentary about this case.

Is Duke Stripper Channeling Tawana Brawley?

Although black-on-white rape is much more common than white-on-black rape, there?s something about the idea of a white man raping a black woman that brings out the retro speeches about slavery, white privilege, patriarchy, and the usual revisionist tirades.

Just go read the whole thing. I agree with every word of it all.

I must say, that I’m really starting to get ticked. Black people have been able to effectively build up a store of “trust” in terms of crying “racism”. When the claim is used in conjunction with a crime it brings a stir of protesters, news cameras and other attention. It’s like the “chicken little” response. Blacks have been able to use the claim of “racism” to win plenty of attention. When the claim is legitimate, it helps to ensure that a racist is exposed. It actually has helped Black on White crime to get less attention than White on Black crime, although the former is more prevalent. It has also caused the massive amount of Black on Black crime to go virtually ignored. So like the “chicken little” story, enough false claims will only ensure that future legitimate claims go ignored.

In this case, a woman of ill repute has claimed that she was sexually abused and that dislike of her skin tone inspired some of the bad treatment. You know the rest, its been a media storm! America has gone from a time when Black women of the utmost moral purity being raped was ignored by law enforcement and the supposed rape of a White woman might result in a town being destroyed. To a time where a Black woman of the lowest moral character is the supposed victim of a rape and a town goes into an uproar with some threats of violence, while the rape of any White woman is handled by police and gets less media attention. If the media attention in terms of race were proportional, we would see stories in the national news every news hour of Black men that may have raped White women. Given that happens far more often.

America’s “table leveling” has only tipped the table to be unfair once again. I don’t know if this stripper was raped and if she was then I’m all for prosecution, the likes of which the ACLU would call “cruel and unusual punishment”. I would like that for all legitimate cases of rape. But if this case is a hoax, then I think this stripper deserves some serious jail time and it’s time to up the penalty for making a false police report.

update 4/10/2006 9:07PM:
DNA show there is no match! I am now of the opinion that the stripper is a liar and once again the race-card has been used by someone only seeking personal gain. The strippers had a dispute with the guys at the house over payment. She was ticked about payment and decided to try and get them in trouble. Their evil e-mail was probably sent in rage after the debates over payment.

Attys.: No DNA Match in Duke Case

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — There is no DNA match between members of Duke University’s men’s lacrosse team and an exotic dancer who told police she was raped at a team party, attorneys for the team said Monday.

Yup, Tawana Brawley all over again!

I hope both strippers are locked up and the 46 White players sue their pants off, no pun intended.

What, the Duke Lacrosse So-Called Rape Matter was not Dropped?

Every day I see the news I’m shocked that this parade of insanity is still in process. By now the coach of the Duke men’s lacrosse team should have returned, the team should be playing like normal and the accuser should have been mandated…
