In the latest episode of the trash TV show Unanimous (aka Unan1mous ), Kelly decided to call it quits. So the money pot was cut in half. Of course everybody was ticked, except Kelly.

Then they learned that their “outcast” Richard was going to replace Kelly. (See contestant bios here.) This made everyone upset, including Richard. Because Richard has been taking crap from everyone. He’s been blamed for not voting with the group, when it was really lying Jonathan.

The stress of it all is causing everyone still there to get very edgy. Of course they all bad mouthed Kelly after she left. But Kelly’s departure was the first sign of a great deal of stress overall. Jamie is starting to have major migraine headaches from all the stress. Interestingly enough, Jameson suggested that Jamie leave because of them. Jameson was happy to see Kelly leave, because she said the gay lifestyle is sinful. Jameson was unhappy to hear Richard was going to take her place. Basically Jameson is upset with anything that does not reduce the group’s overall size. I think he knows that he will need to reduce to group to either a very small number or just himself in order to win.

Last night’s episode was pretty boring, because you knew the outcome before it happened. You knew they were not all going to vote for the same person and Richard being hassled has caused him to in part say he’s for himself winning, but he also is not happy to still be there. Basically Richard has a history of mental problems and this environment is not helping matters. In fact I’m starting to think it’s wrong to subject someone with mental issues to these conditions. Which makes me consider if I’ll continue watching, but Richard does have the ability to walk out whenever he wants to and he’s already seen someone do it. Bottom line, he’s sticking around in case he can find a way to win.

(I’m also considering how much longer I will watch because it’s getting boring.)

So after they did not agree, more money came out of their pot. Now they are somewhere in the $720K range and dropping. Steve, who was one vote away from winning last time only received a single vote this time.

At this point the folks at Fox are making a ton off this show, while offering peanuts in return. They have a cast of people who remain in the bunker and only one of them might win. Whatever is won will be much less than the cost of paying even C-level actors for a season on a national TV show. Which leads me to believe that Kelly was right to leave. If nobody wins early, why stick around and allow Fox to make a mint off you? Kelly was a little “over the top”, but I did enjoy her saying the truth and not backing down when faced with a cranky gay Liberal like Jameson. She could have said the truth with a bit less “drama”, but I think we all know she was selected especially for the “drama”.
