Euphoric Reality has a wrap up of the latest efforts by the US Senate, to award people who broke US immigration laws. Now they are acting like those who got away with breaking the law for a longer period of time should get preferential treatment. How insane! It will only inspire those who have been here a short period of time to stay, until they can get a sweet amnesty deal too. And it will certainly inspire more illegal immigration.

Laura Ingraham was appropriately steamed this morning, because the Catholic Church in Los Angeles is pushing to reward illegals with amnesty. Laura is a Catholic, so she’s had to speak out against her own church on this one. Which shows some good independent thinking on her part. As one of her callers explained, the Catholic Church has been losing members and sees this as a means of building up their membership. Never mind the American workers’ needs, when they can fill their coffers with anything not sent back in remittances. Then the poor American worker can run to Catholic Charities when they need a meal and can’t find a job!

For the record I don’t have a problem with Catholics, but this move by leaders in the Catholic Church is hurting their own fellow American Catholics.
