This should be a big boost to the Democratic challenger in her district, Hank Johnson.

Lock her up! And this is not the first time I’ve recommended that she be arrested!

update 3/29/2006 6:52PM: WSB TV in Atlanta has a video report, that confirms multiple sources reporting an incident occurred. They also mention that McKinney has had SEVERAL encounters with officers in DC.

update 3/29/2006 11:00PM: McKinney’s office has issued a statement. Just in time for the 11 o’clock evening news shows. It has no true apology for her actions. She simply expresses “regret” by saying: “I deeply regret that the incident occurred.”

What a lame response. She punched an officer. Instead of offering an apology she’s trying to make it seem like it’s all the officer’s fault, but she admits she was not wearing her Congressional pin. I can’t fault an officer for not knowing over 500 different people by facial recognition alone. McKinney should have apologized and said she would show officers more respect in the future.

Reports mention that the officer is still planning to press charges and with a response like that from McKinney I don’t blame him.

You know, when you have a history of giving cops a hard time, they never have much incentive to treat you nice. I think the cop made an honest mistake and McKinney over-reacted. As usual, jumping around expecting everyone to treat her like a queen. Crying that it’s all about race. She is the same big mouthed crybaby, even at age 51.

Maybe the next time President Bush is in New Orleans, he should complain that he’s tired of having to have his appearance validated by Black people? Oh, would it be a racist statement then? But McKinney will never admit her own racist ways. And if she was a true supporter of the cops, they would befriend her and know who she is. I’m so sick of this racist liar being in Congress. There were 2 years of peace with Majette in her place. I just hope Hank Johnson or somebody else beats her this time!

The border issue is heating up Texas politics and it is even causing some Democrats to cross party lines, to support Republicans that want to do something about it.

Remember Hudspeth County Sheriff Arvin West? His deputies had a standoff with people dressed in Mexican military uniforms. Sheriff West is a Democrat, but he knows this issue trumps party alliances.

Republicans could really make this into their new National Security concern if they play it right. At least that’s how many Republicans in Texas are playing it. And they are making the right play. When will America’s Republican President do the same?

My fellow Conservative bloggers are fuming today. Because during some of the protests in favor of illegal immigration the US flag is being disrespected. I’ve mentioned before that I see Mexicans in this country all the time that are not expressing any desire at all to be loyal to this nation, but rather express loyalty to Mexico.

• Heidi at Euphoric Reality did a little investigative work and found that the kids disrespecting the flag at one school actually came over from another area school. The school administrators were AFRAID TO PUT THE FLAG RIGHTSIDE UP AFTER PROTESTORS TURNED IT UPSIDE DOWN BECAUSE IT MIGHT CAUSE A RIOT!!! Can you say “mob rule”?
• Ian at Expose the Left is exposing how lunatics that support the illegals want them to get more guaranteed free health care. (And he’s not talking about critical emergency care either, but elective and non-critical care too!)
  The pro-illegal nut even asked if Bill O’Reilly had ever seen a Latino with a “Will work for food” sign. I wonder if that Leftist has ever seen a Day Laborer site?
• Greg Tinti at The Political Pit Bull covers one of the heroes in this fight, Congressman Tom Tancredo. And his efforts to stop amnesty programs. Greg also covers Ted (I lost her in the lake) Kennedy trying to act as if enforcement of immigration laws and closing the border to illegals is a bad idea. The Drunken Senator from MA tries to compare illegals to Blacks, which I take personal offense to. We know that although the ancestors of Blacks got here via some nasty methods, it was LEGAL. For Kennedy to compare the efforts of Blacks for Civil Rights to that of law breakers is very insulting! The illegals lower wages for workers including Blacks. Illegals fill the labor pool with workers that make it harder for others including Blacks to find a job. Americans had no problem working at local fast food restaurants just 2 years ago, but the Latinos who were protesting in Georgia last Friday are working there now. I know it has nothing to do with who will or won’t do the jobs. Americans were doing them. But people like Kennedy are making it harder for the same “American worker” he claims to protect!

The actions of the illegals and their sympathizers have effectively turned illegal immigration into a true INVASION.

Guaranteed checks, the ability to sit at a job while doing terrible work or no work at all, without ever being able to be fired is a pretty good deal for a lazy bum, that does not wish to compete to keep their job. All you have to do is fool enough people during the interview process and you’re in for life! (Or make a good show while a contractor, before getting a full time offer.) That’s what youth in France are rioting to protect. Now even the teenagers are taking part in the riots. Really France should not have set the limit for firing people at age 26. It should have been done across the board.

With the little nuts rioting, some people are speaking up.

This is the reason Unions in America are a problem. They attempt to make it very hard to fire people here in the USA. This is why school systems can’t get rid of the teachers who do a poor job.
