Michelle Malkin has all the current details about the technicalities being used to dismiss the case against Christian convert Abdul Rahman.

The real question is, where will he go or be sent to? In my review of the history of these kinds of cases in Arab countries, even when released the Christian convert is never able to return to a normal life in their old hometown. We know plenty of people in Afghanistan now want to kill Mr. Rahman. So if he is released I’m just wondering where he will either go to on his own or be sent to. In some cases like this, the Arab government offers a one way ticket out of the country. I suspect something like that could happen in this case.

It was good that US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice stepped up on behalf of the Bush Administration and told Afghan officials it was time for them to let this man go free.

The only reason Abdul Rahman is not already out, is probably because arrangements are being made for his safe relocation to another country. Maybe we will see him at Bush’s next State of the Union Address .
