PETA, Still Pimping Blacks

I can go into my barber shop and being a Conservative I can strike up a debate at will. I can bring up Bush, war, welfare and so on for a good bit of discussion. But one thing that is sure to bring everyone into agreement is talk about People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). None of us like PETA AT ALL. We are happy that the chickens are going into processing plants for us to eat. We enjoy a good steak, fur coat, leather jacket and all other things produced via the processing of animals. What really ticks us off is when these Far Left groups attempt to attach their cause to suffering experienced by Blacks in the past. Because the issues raised by groups like PETA don’t even come close to being the same. Even though me and most Blacks have general agreement about this, it seems there is a major disconnect when it comes to the so-called “Black Leaders”. As usual, the media proclaimed “leaders” run with a group of Leftists, that don’t come close to representing what Black people really care about.

Blacks who are not part of the media appointed Black Leadership usually handle PETA’s attempts to pimp Blacks more appropriately.

Outrage on the green (emphasis added)

NEW HAVEN — A two-hour animal rights demonstration on the Green Monday sparked outrage instead of sympathy from the public.

“This is the most racist thing I’ve ever seen on the Green. How dare you,” roared Philip Goldson, 43, of New Haven at the protest organizers at Church and Chapel streets.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, a national animal rights group, posted giant photographs of people, mostly black Americans, being tortured, sold and killed, next to photographs of animals, including cattle and sheep, being tortured, sold and killed.

One man demanded that the NAACP get involved immediately. Five minutes later, Scot X. Esdaile, president of the state and Greater New Haven chapters of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, arrived at the scene, surveyed the photos and blasted the organizers.

“Once again, black people are being pimped. You used us. You have used us enough,” Esdaile said. “Take it down immediately.”

“I am a black man! I can’t compare the suffering of these black human beings to the suffering of this cow,” said Michael Perkins, 47, of New Haven. He stood in front of a photo of butchered livestock hung next to the photo of two lynched black men dangling before a white mob.

“You can’t compare me to a freaking cow,” shouted John Darryl Thompson, 46, of New Haven, inches from Carr’s face. “We don’t care about PETA. You are playing a dangerous game.”

Paul Tomaselli, 46, of North Branford took exception to an exhibit that included a photo of a black man being beaten to the ground by a white man with a stick while a white mob gathers.

Next to that photo was one of a man chasing a seal across the snow with a club.

“I think he’s right,” said Tomaselli, who is white, in support of Thompson. “To compare people to animals is an unfairness to people.”

Anybody want to guess why PETA never uses posters showing Arabs with slaves? In addition to possibly ticking off some Islamic Radicals, it does not play into their attempts to sow more racial discord between Blacks and Whites. In the end all PETA does is distance themselves from not only Blacks, but all Americans with their disgusting attempts to make it appear that humans are on the exact same level as animals. And it is interesting how many of their efforts to make this insane association include pictures of Blacks in comparison with animals. They even attempt to make the association with words from people like John Farmer, who was speaking of his grandparents being held as slaves. I have never seen any mention of Mr. Farmer being a vegetarian.

A human running in a field is not the equivalent of a cow running in a field and a human being hung is not even close to the same as a cow being hung. I will happily eat that cow and use its skin for a coat, thank you very much.

Well PETA’s degradation of humans continues. California Patriot has record of them continuing their debased activities at Ultra Liberal UC Berkeley. And once again PETA only succeeded in ticking people off.

While at times a lower level NAACP official may take an appropriate stand against PETA, the animal nuts have been able to sometimes get strong support from higher up in the organization. In addition, there are plenty of other idiots who love to play on race that line their pockets with PETA cash have ties to PETA.

While some claim to connect the past of Blacks with chickens and cows, the average Black simply enjoys eating them and would like for these fools to shut the heck up!
