If you have not yet come to know the Lord, I have a web site created by myself and a friend that can help you.
If you live in America, you have the privilege of being able to accept the Lord without it resulting in your execution. We are learning that this may not be the case with our “friend in the war on terror” Afghanistan. Yes, the same Afghanistan that US forces liberated. Check out this story from Michelle Malkin.
Afghan Man Faces Execution After Converting to Christianity
|
Abdul Rahman can stand in the face of potential execution of his physical body knowing that for him death will have no sting. He knows at judgement he will meet the Lord. Will you be there with Abdul Rahman? I know I will be.
Now about this man being turned in by his family and held because he is no longer a Muslim.
I don’t think we can consider Afghanistan to be “liberated” if Muslims have no freedom to worship outside of that faith, if they choose to do so. If this is a true representation of the Muslim faith, then it is like a common street gang, where nobody is allowed to leave the gang unless they are killed. This is insane. What “freedom” have our soldiers given their lives for in that nation, if the Jesus most of them pray to can never be embraced by anyone currently a Muslim?
If we are going to be “liberating” any nations, then we need to ensure that “liberation” means anyone can freely accept Jesus, regardless of their current faith. Otherwise, we are a nation that helps to enforce theocratic slavery. Our nation should not agree to continue offering help to nations that kill people like Abdul Rahman.
President Bush, you’ve got some explaining to do and I’ve got a suspicion that I won’t like the explanation!
I don’t think the Democrats would do any better regarding an issue like this. But I do know of one political party that probably would.

Where Christianity is a Crime
If Adbul Rahman is willing to stand up for his faith, even if it means death, Christians who are protected by the U.S. Constitution should be willing to stand up against those who want us to keep our faith locked up in our homes.

More About Brother Abdul Rahman
In this previous post I mentioned how a Christian in Afghanistan faces death for converting from Islam. Now that you are aware of the issue, it’s time to see what we can do to help. Michelle Malkin has more details and links.
