McKinney Abused Because She’s a Black in Congress? Interesting How JC Watts Never Had Similar Issues.

by @ 4:36 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

McKinney Nut So McKinney goes into a building that is not her office building and is upset that she was not recognized by security. With that new hair-do of hers and her change in size, who would notice her? What a nut! And her lawyer is tossing the race bait!

Lawyer Says McKinney a Victim in Scuffle

A lawyer for Rep. Cynthia McKinney, the Georgia congresswoman who had an altercation with a Capitol Police officer, says she was “just a victim of being in Congress while black.”

Her lawyer, James W. Myart Jr., said, “Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, like thousands of average Americans across this country, is, too, a victim of the excessive use of force by law enforcement officials because of how she looks and the color of her skin.”

“Ms. McKinney is just a victim of being in Congress while black,” Myart said. “Congresswoman McKinney will be exonerated.”

Several Capitol Police officials have said the officer involved asked McKinney three times to stop. When she did not, he placed a hand on her and she hit him, they said.

Asked on-camera Thursday by WSB-TV of Atlanta whether she intended to apologize, McKinney declined to comment. A news conference scheduled for Friday morning was canceled.

Actor, Danny Glover was expected to appear at an early-evening news conference Friday with McKinney at Howard University.

Congressmen like JC Watts never had complaints like this. In fact, I’ve never heard many other members of the Congressional Black Caucus running to cameras with similar complaints over the years. If it happens to Blacks, why is this the first time it has resulted in this kind of confrontation and why don’t we hear plenty of other Black congresspeople saying the same already?

And McKinney is in interesting company. Danny Glover was part of the group of nuts that visited Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. And Howard University is where Kamau Kambon made his “exterminate white people off the face of the planet” statement.

The Political Pit Bull has found that Harry Belafonte is still talking trash. This time at the TransAfrica Forum, which Belafonte is President of and Danny Glover is the Chairman. The group is giving Belafonte an award. How convenient, give their own President an award, get on C-SPAN to talk trash and maybe get some more donations from Bush Hating Leftists. Then what, spread the Bush hate to Africa along with some aid packages?

McKinney has delayed her news conference until 5:30PM. So she can say what she wants and get it into the 6PM national news cycle before anyone else can comment. And it allows her statement to carry over the weekend as well.

Disrespectful Cynthia McKinney Punches a Cop. He’s Pressing Charges!

update 3/31/2006 8:54PM:
McKinney FINALLY had her news conference and basically cried about how she was abused because she’s a Black woman. Sorry McKinney, it’s 2006, and as they say down here in the South, that dog won’t hunt!

And she has the nerve to be trying to file a complain against the cop.

You can see just McKinney’s statement on video over at Expose the Left.

You can watch the entire news conference which includes McKinney’s statement at Atlanta’s 11 Alive news.

Later in the news conference, McKinney answered a couple of questions herself. One question was about McKinney not wearing her pin. She responded to the question by saying:

I do wear the pin when I remember to wear the pin.

The issue is face recognition and face recognition is the issue.

So McKinney feels that every cop in every single building used by a Congressperson should know HER FACE. Of course if she wore HER PIN it would have made their job easier! Hey Mckinney, maybe that’s why they gave you the pin in the first place.

There has been talk about other Congresspeople not wearing their pins at times. But we have to keep in mind, that McKinney was not entering the building that HER OFFICE IS IN. So it is understandable that when she goes into a different building that the cops are not used to seeing her with her “new hair-do”. (I mean lets be honest it’s scary!)

At the end of the news conference, both Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte spoke. I guess they went straight from their previous made up awards ceremony, where Belafonte repeated how he hates Bush and loves socialist nations, to running to the defense of a fellow nut case.

Belafonte admitted he does not know the details of the case. But he tossed around race-bait for the crowd. He basically said he does not have a clue about what happened with McKinney, but hey there is racism in DC. He also cried about her being “abused in the past”. So he knows nothing, but is still trying to make a defense for her. Saying nothing about the fact cops have a hard job, especially after 9/11. He only said words that will probably be said by McKinney’s defense team. This was nothing more than lame pandering for public support by crying “racism”.

Belafonte ended by saying:

We stand in solidarity and support with her personally.

Danny Glover talked about how McKinney’s stance on some issues have put her in political and “physical danger”. (I’m not sure when she’s had this supposed “physical danger”.) Mr. Glover feels that since McKinney has stood alone running her mouth about some matters, that means he should stand with her. He mentioned he was not there to judge the merits of the case.

So it was one big Friday Nutty Bush Hating Racism Crying Bash.

update 4/1/2006 11:05AM:
Shay at Booker Rising is so surprised by McKinney’s makeover, that she thought the media altered an image of McKinney.

On Cynthia McKinney

I might not have recognized her either on Wednesday. In fact, I thought the media had doctored the pictured photo. You bypass security after being asked three times to stop - after not wearing your lapel pin and knowing that you’ve had a significant makeover - then why the drama because a police officer did his job? Racial profiling here? Come now.

It would be nice if this was all just an April Fools Joke, but unfortunately McKinney’s race-bait is a daily reality.

The Family That Gambles Together….

by @ 12:33 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

family gambling What is wrong with this picture? I’ll explain it to you. This is what I saw at a supermarket in my area just last night. I was so stunned I had to take a picture.

The shorter of the 2 people standing at the Georgia State Lottery game machine is the mother and the taller person wearing a sports jersey is her daughter. (I’m assuming the mother daughter relationship given other interaction I noticed between them when we passed in another part of the market earlier.) It was visibly obvious that the daughter WELL UNDER AGE 18. Together they are both playing the State run lottery machine. They were taking turns making picks. The State of GA has outlawed private businesses from running gaming machines that pay out money and even banned the machines that did not pay money. The state banned any video game that was a form of “match game”. But the Great State of Georgia in all it’s government hypocrisy is A-OK with a state run lottery and state run lottery machines. With the private machines there were always efforts made to keep kids off the machines. But with the state run machine, we see mother and daughter both happily playing together.

Personally, I feel if a state is going to allow gambling then the state should not be the entity controlling the gambling. It makes all taxpayers a party to endorsing the sin, because tax dollars are used to get the state run gambling started. And I don’t care about the “it goes to education” talk. Raise the money via other means. Don’t make me party to state run games that prey on the desperate and stupid.

I’ve watched several people in my family be duped by these government sponsored forms of gambling. It’s bad enough when a private party does it, but to see members of my family running around daily throwing away money on a statistically false hope that is run by the government seems criminal to me. If a private party were to run any such games it would be a crime. Companies that setup investment schemes where most everyone loses are shut down. But the state enjoys making money off false hope! People like Neal Boortz are right to call this a stupid tax.

Our state government has given its self a monopoly on a very profitable and dirty business.

So now the state of GA is running gambling games that attract entire families to play, children included. I know the family that prays together stays together, but what about the family that gambles together?

I just think this whole mess is sick!

Unanimous (aka Unan1mous ) - Jameson Can’t Let it Go. And Should Christians Lie on Game Shows?

by @ 3:44 pm. Filed under Questionable Items

Kelly OK, so if you’ve been keeping up I’m hooked to watching a new trash TV show named Unanimous (aka Unan1mous ). A bunch of people setting in an upscale underground bunker, trying to decide who to give a bunch of money to. The interaction involving some of the Conservative Christians on this show is interesting. Of course given Kelly’s heated exchange with Jameson last week, everyone was wondering what would happen next.

Well this week nothing happened with them. Kelly was obviously able to effectively apply some suggestions that Paul gave to the Ephesians.

Ephesians 4:25-27 (New King James Version)

25) Therefore, putting away lying, “ Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.

26) “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,

27) nor give place to the devil.

She had her spat and moved on. When Jameson said something she felt was the truth, she would openly agree with him. However, Jameson is still angry. He offers no response to anything Kelly says to the group, he basically does his best to ignore her. And whenever he gets an opportunity to speak “in private” to “the camera” he’s only talking about how he wants Kelly to be gone. He’s still got a big chip on his shoulder and he can’t let it go. The fact someone would not bend and stood on the fact that his gay lifestyle is a sin is tearing him apart. (This makes me think of how gays often run from the truth.)

The group did find that they have a big time liar in their mist, but they don’t know who it is yet. Jonathan the “womanizer” is telling them more lies than they even know. Everyone including Jonathan agreed to give the money to Steve. Steve’s a quiet Conservative Christian with a wife and kids. Well once the votes came in, it turned out somebody did not vote for Steve. They don’t know who, but it was Jonathan. The same guy who is lying to them about having testicular cancer. Jonathan is a rat and he’s trying to use any means possible to get the money.

I guess some people would say “hey it’s a game” and consider Jonathan’s actions to be part of the game. Steve had an opportunity to speak with his wife and told her to tell the kids to keep their integrity, even if they see their father do something unethical on the show, as part of the game. This presents an interesting issue. Because Jonathan is not a Christian. He has no higher calling. But Steve is a Christian and his actions are a testimony of the faith. So if Steve makes the choice to tell a lie, he’s placed himself on the same level as Jonathan. This might all be a game, but if Steve crosses the line of good ethics in his public dealings, he’s gone into the realm of showing a Christian to be deceitful in the eyes of the world. This would not be a good thing.

Christians must keep in mind:

1 Timothy 6:7-10 (New King James Version)

7) For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

8) And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

9) But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10) For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

If Steve starts telling lies (which he has said he might do) he will have compromised himself for the sake of money. He will place himself into the same snare that Jonathan is already in, but Jonathan does not know the Lord and makes no claims to be a Christian.

Steve telling a lie would be bad for the ministry of the gospel, given plenty of people who don’t know the Lord are watching. Not to mention, once you start telling lies it gets easy to do and he may have issues with it even after the game is over, especially if he wins. If lies help Steve to win, then Steve will feel that deceit is a good way for him to win rewards for himself. This would be bad for him and his family. The money he hopes can help him and his family might be a burden, if he takes it while compromising himself. He would do best with the money if he wins with his integrity in tact.

Because of the lies being told, Kelly is threatening to leave. I can’t say I blame her. Steve is trying to convince her to stay, because he knows she will vote for him to get the money. Kelly knows what her personal tolerance level is. And it is obvious that lies really get under her skin. If she stays and has to endure more lies, she might fall into some bad actions herself. If Kelly stays, she’s going to need to be very careful.

Taking a Community Back! Who Will Thank Bush For This One?

by @ 10:55 am. Filed under The Truth Shall Set you Free!

You can read this story about a dirty drug infested neighborhood in Atlanta, where the community is taking back their streets via cleaning them up. There is also a video report at this link, courtesy of Atlanta’s CBS 46 news.

The effort is funded by the US Department of Justice (the primary funder), the City of Atlanta and Spelman College. Community residents and students from Spelman College did the clean-up work.

Now I’m just wondering which one of our Black representatives in Congress will thank the Bush Administration for funding this effort to clean up a Black community? I’m sure Bush will not be getting any thanks from Cynthia (punch a cop) McKinney!

I think it’s good that this neighborhood is working to clean things up. And although a Federal hand out was used, it was used in a way that requires the people in the community to roll up their own sleeves to improve their community.

Gays Use California’s New Pro-Gay “Civil Rights” Law Against a Christian Private School

by @ 12:00 am. Filed under Education, Evangelicals Under Attack

A CA Superior Court Judge has decided that California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act trumps freedom of religion and assembly. In short, a couple of lesbians were kicked out of a private Christian school. Because the school felt their sinful activity was causing a disruptive environment. In response, like typical crying Liberals their parents ran to court claiming that their kids’ “civil rights” were violated. And since the administrators had to discuss a punishment for the sinful actions, the parents’ lawyers also claimed that the girls’ “privacy” was violated. They claimed that the private Christian school is a business and therefore subject to CA’s newest “civil rights” law that offers coverage for gays. The judge agreed.

Judge allows expelled lesbians to sue Christian school

RIVERSIDE – A judge allowed a lawsuit filed by the guardians of two suspected lesbians to proceed against a Christian school that expelled them, but the resolution of the case is likely months away.

No new hearings are scheduled in Mother Doe v. California Lutheran High School Association, except for a July 9 status conference.

Superior Court Judge Gloria Connor Trask agreed with the plaintiffs that there are enough issues of fact to be decided at a trial, allowing the case to proceed.

The defense had hoped to stop the case dead in its tracks by arguing that the federal freedom of religious association guarantee takes precedence over California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act, which bars a business from discriminating – among other things – on the basis of sexual orientation, Hanson said.

The school contends it had to bar the girls because of their sexual behavior, which is “un-Christian” and thus antithetical to CLHS’s code of conduct, and disruptive to the education of the other students.

Hanson has argued that the school and its principal, the Rev. Gregory R. Bork, cannot claim protection against the Unruh Act under a 2000 case that affirmed the Boy Scouts’ right to dismiss troop leaders who were gay.

Hanson said the nonprofit scouts, in a way, were acting more like a church in taking such action, but that California Lutheran High School was clearly acting like a business when it set up shop and took tuition money in exchange for an education.

If this school were to lose then all Christian schools in the state of CA would have to allow gays to violate their rules. This would allow a debased lifestyle into the Christian schools.

On top of that, since this new “civil rights” law also offers coverage for disabilities, it could have other far reaching effects. For example, any parent that wants their child to go to a certain private school would be able to leverage this case. Even if the child is not academically eligible for that school. Imagine if a child takes the entrance exams for a private school and fails? The child’s parents could claim that their child has a learning “disability” and BAM, the school would have to admit them or face legal action! This would result in private schools in CA having all the issues that public schools have, because they would not be able to filter out children that might hold up the school’s educational process. The only filter they would be able to use is a higher tuition fee. Meaning the richest families in CA might be able to ensure their children went to a good private school. But even with the rich, a kid who is not very bright could slip in, so long as they have rich parents.

For these reasons, CA’s “civil rights” law should not apply to any private school. (It probably should not apply to public schools either, given you can’t have a separate class for smart kids, because you would discriminate against those with learning disabilities by segregating them from everyone else.) These institutions need to have the ability to filter out children based on the criteria of their choosing. Otherwise, they will be no better than public schools. Not to mention that it has always been understood that private schools were allowed to discriminate so long as they don’t violate FEDERAL Civil Rights laws. And Christian private schools should always be allowed to discriminate against sin.

Hat tip to Religion Clause.

Disrespectful Cynthia McKinney Punches a Cop. He’s Pressing Charges!

by @ 6:38 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

This should be a big boost to the Democratic challenger in her district, Hank Johnson.

McKinney Allegedly Punches Cop

According to sources on Capitol Hill, U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) punched a Capitol police officer on Wednesday afternoon after he mistakenly pursued her for failing to pass through a metal detector.

The officer called out, “Ma’am, Ma’am,” and walked after her in an attempt to stop her. When he caught McKinney, he grabbed her by the arm.

Witnesses say McKinney pulled her arm away, and with her cell phone in hand, punched the officer in the chest.

According to the Drudge Report, the entire incident is on tape.

Drudge continues, “The cop is pressing charges, and the USCP (United States Capitol Police) are waiting until Congress adjurns to arrest her, a source claims.”

Lock her up! And this is not the first time I’ve recommended that she be arrested!

Expose the Left mentions that Drudge said she will be arrested after Congress adjourns for the day.

update 3/29/2006 6:52PM:
WSB TV in Atlanta has a video report, that confirms multiple sources reporting an incident occurred. They also mention that McKinney has had SEVERAL encounters with officers in DC.

update 3/29/2006 11:00PM:
McKinney’s office has issued a statement. Just in time for the 11 o’clock evening news shows. It has no true apology for her actions. She simply expresses “regret” by saying: “I deeply regret that the incident occurred.”

What a lame response. She punched an officer. Instead of offering an apology she’s trying to make it seem like it’s all the officer’s fault, but she admits she was not wearing her Congressional pin. I can’t fault an officer for not knowing over 500 different people by facial recognition alone. McKinney should have apologized and said she would show officers more respect in the future.

Reports mention that the officer is still planning to press charges and with a response like that from McKinney I don’t blame him.

update 3/30/2006 12:34AM:
The Hill reports:

McKinney in fracas with officer

A U.S. Capitol Police officer is considering filing assault charges against Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) following an altercation yesterday in which she allegedly hit him after he asked to see identification, according to a source familiar with the incident.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:50 yesterday morning at the New Jersey Avenue and C Street entrance to the Longworth Building. As McKinney was entering the building, the officer stopped her and asked for identification. McKinney allegedly hit him before identifying herself as a member of Congress and walking away, the source said.

Capitol Hill publication Hotline reported a witness’s account on its blog. According to the blog, the witness recounted that the officer pursued McKinney after she failed to pass through the metal detector. As the officer took McKinney by the arm, she swung around and punched him in the chest while still holding on to her cell phone.

The incident is likely to have been caught on videotape, since all Capitol Hill entrances are monitored by cameras.

Republicans wasted no time pouncing on the events. National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Carl Forti tied the altercation to Democrats’ unveiling of their security agenda yesterday.

“Today’s ironic one-two punch from national Democrats trying to look tough on security finds Cynthia McKinney attacking a member of the law-enforcement community,” he said. “When we said Democrats were all talk and no action on security, we did not mean to provoke them to take matters into their own cell-phone-clutching hands.”

First elected in 1992, McKinney, 51, has a history of lashing out at government security guards:

• In 1993, after she complained about being stopped by security guards, Capitol Police posted a photo of her on an office wall so that officers could remember who she was.

• In 1995, McKinney reportedly contacted the sergeant at arms after a white Capitol Police officer asked her to consent to a security check.

• In 1996 and 1998, she complained that White House security officials failed to recognize her and did not give her the same treatment as other members of Congress, at one time mistaking her 23-year-old white aide for the congresswoman.

“I am absolutely sick and tired of having to have my appearance at the White House validated by white people,” she said at the time.

You know, when you have a history of giving cops a hard time, they never have much incentive to treat you nice. I think the cop made an honest mistake and McKinney over-reacted. As usual, jumping around expecting everyone to treat her like a queen. Crying that it’s all about race. She is the same big mouthed crybaby, even at age 51.

Maybe the next time President Bush is in New Orleans, he should complain that he’s tired of having to have his appearance validated by Black people? Oh, would it be a racist statement then? But McKinney will never admit her own racist ways. And if she was a true supporter of the cops, they would befriend her and know who she is. I’m so sick of this racist liar being in Congress. There were 2 years of peace with Majette in her place. I just hope Hank Johnson or somebody else beats her this time!

Liberal Republican Maryland Governor Robert Ehrlich Gives Baby Experimentation 2 Thumbs Up!

by @ 6:25 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. is so Liberal, I wish Michael Steele had run for Governor instead of him!

Md. to Fund Stem-Cell Research

Maryland Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. said that he will sign legislation sent to him this afternoon by the House of Delegates that will make Maryland one of the first states in the nation to fund stem-cell research.

With Ehrlich’s signature, the state will offer up to $15 million in grants next year to university and private-sector researchers seeking treatments for debilitating conditions through work on stem cells, including those derived from embryos.

The legislation was opposed by most Republicans in both chambers, but Ehrlich said he feels comfortable signing it given his record supporting abortion rights.

“I have my views, and those views are part of my record, part of my belief system,” he said.

Allowing babies to be killed and experimented on. That’s some “belief system” you’ve got there governor. Unfortunately it’s not the system of the God that I believe in.

Democratic Hudspeth County, Texas Sheriff Arvin West Endorses a Republican in Effort to End Illegal Immigration

by @ 6:13 pm. Filed under Illegal Aliens

The border issue is heating up Texas politics and it is even causing some Democrats to cross party lines, to support Republicans that want to do something about it.

Remember Hudspeth County Sheriff Arvin West? His deputies had a standoff with people dressed in Mexican military uniforms. Sheriff West is a Democrat, but he knows this issue trumps party alliances.

Immigration a hot topic for Texas Republicans

Hudspeth County Sheriff Arvin West, a Democrat who battles traffic in drugs and human beings in his remote swath of West Texas, even endorsed a GOP candidate running more than 600 miles away for a Houston Senate seat.

“I’ll endorse anybody who’s going to help us on this issue,” West said.

Republicans could really make this into their new National Security concern if they play it right. At least that’s how many Republicans in Texas are playing it. And they are making the right play. When will America’s Republican President do the same?

Once More for the Record, Many of Them Don’t Want to be Loyal Americans!

My fellow Conservative bloggers are fuming today. Because during some of the protests in favor of illegal immigration the US flag is being disrespected. I’ve mentioned before that I see Mexicans in this country all the time that are not expressing any desire at all to be loyal to this nation, but rather express loyalty to Mexico.

Check out some of the posts from my fellow Conservatives:

The actions of the illegals and their sympathizers have effectively turned illegal immigration into a true INVASION.

Young French Bums Take to the Streets

by @ 3:40 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Guaranteed checks, the ability to sit at a job while doing terrible work or no work at all, without ever being able to be fired is a pretty good deal for a lazy bum, that does not wish to compete to keep their job. All you have to do is fool enough people during the interview process and you’re in for life! (Or make a good show while a contractor, before getting a full time offer.) That’s what youth in France are rioting to protect. Now even the teenagers are taking part in the riots. Really France should not have set the limit for firing people at age 26. It should have been done across the board.

With the little nuts rioting, some people are speaking up.

Check out this video at Expose the Left of a former Frenchman who is now an American. He says it straight. These kids are lazy socialists.

This is the reason Unions in America are a problem. They attempt to make it very hard to fire people here in the USA. This is why school systems can’t get rid of the teachers who do a poor job.

Gateway Pundit has pictures of the rioters beating women in the streets! I guess I should have called them Young French Thugs.
