Hillary Claims School Vouchers are a Tool of White Supremacy!

by @ 9:53 pm. Filed under Education, Nuts on Parade

Last time I gave Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton a pass when she took the race-bait route. But this time she has taken her race-baited rhetoric to a new low. Yesterday while she was speaking to the South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corp. she said the following about school voucher proposals.

Clinton raps vouchers

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton slammed private-school voucher proposals yesterday, predicting that vouchers would eventually lead to the creation of taxpayer-financed white supremacist academies - or even a government-funded “School of the Jihad.”

“First family that comes and says ‘I want to send my daughter to St. Peter’s Roman Catholic School’ and you say ‘Great, wonderful school, here’s your voucher,’” Clinton said. “Next parent that comes and says, ‘I want to send my child to the school of the Church of the White Supremacist …’ The parent says, ‘The way that I read Genesis, Cain was marked, therefore I believe in white supremacy. … You gave it to a Catholic parent, you gave it to a Jewish parent, under the Constitution, you can’t discriminate against me.’”

As an adoring, if somewhat puzzled, audience of Bronx activists looked on, Clinton added, “So what if the next parent comes and says, ‘I want to send my child to the School of the Jihad? … I won’t stand for it.”

I’m not sure what brand of stupid juice some politicians are drinking this week, but she’s telling one of the boldest faced lies I’ve heard all year! No school receiving vouchers would be able to discriminate based on race, given it is unconstitutional. Individuals can choose to attend a school that endorses a faith and use a voucher, given the individual and not the government selects the school. But the government can withhold vouchers from a school that engages in racism. This is supported by the 8-1 US Supreme Court decision in Bob Jones University v. United States. (It is one of the few cases I disagreed with former Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist on. He was the lone dissenter.) An overwhelming majority of the US Supreme Court decided that the government can adjust the tax status of an institution engaging in blatant racism in the name of religion. So the government would be able to deny vouchers to schools that try and teach racism. Of course any school teaching radical Islam would be shut down, never mind them trying to get vouchers.

The fact Senator Clinton claimed that racist schools would be able to obtain school vouchers not only ignores Court precedent, but also implies that she feels Justice Rehnquist was right. This shows that Hillary Clinton’s view of the US Constitution is in line with Jim Crow era Democrats. No wonder she had a birthday party for Senator Robert “KKK” Byrd.

Senator Clinton is continually trying to play on racial fears, to win support for herself. This shows that she has no actual ideas and initiatives of her own. A majority of Blacks are in favor of school vouchers and research performed for Democrats proves this to be true.

Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies report, Blacks and the 2004 Democratic National Convention

Based on the Joint Center’s 2002 national survey, African Americans’ views on several issues suggest that the GOP might be more successful in appealing to younger blacks. First, 25 percent of this population are self-described conservatives and 31 percent are self described moderates. On education, 63 percent rate their local public schools as only fair or poor, and 66.4 percent support school vouchers for public, private, or parochial schools. On Social Security, one of the Democrats’ signature issues, 61.2 percent of young blacks believe they will get back less from Social Security than what they pay in, and a substantial 79.3 percent favor the fund’s partial privatization. On the “traditional values” front, a majority (52.9 percent) of these young African Americans attend church at least once a week.

While a majority of African Americans support school vouchers, except for a small program in the District of Columbia that program also represents little to speak of.

Support for school vouchers is strongest among young Blacks and overall the majority of Blacks support school vouchers. Unfortunately, few Americans have ever had an opportunity to take advantage of a school voucher program. So for Hillary to attempt to play on race in this regard is pretty stupid. She’s totally going against the view of a voting bloc that is known in recent years for supporting her party. Once again a Democrat is doing what they claim is in the best interest of Blacks, while actually being Blacks’ main inhibitor.

Given this latest lie from Senator Clinton, I’ve had to break my promise, to refrain from doing any serious “Hillary bashing” until she announces she will run for President. I cannot allow her lies to continue without offering the facts. So from this point forward Hillary is fair game. I tried to hold back on you Hillary, but you leave me no choice!

Hat tip goes to Expose the Left for helping to expose Hillary’s race bait.

Democrats must sustain a 92% black vote, all they have left is the broken record of racial politics. As long as we black folks lap it up, the liberal massas will keep feeding it to us. When liberal politicans speak to us they address us not as equals but as children who will believe anything they tell us when it comes to issues of race. That’s why they can get away with “the plantation reference” calling Justice Thomas an abomination, etc etc etc.

What black denocrats don’t want to face is they define our ethinicity hence they own it.
