The picture in this post is of a truck I saw while riding in my county some days back. And it contradicts the words of former President Theodore Roosevelt.

I’m not going to spend time on the female silhouettes. It’s not the most honorable way to display a woman on a vehicle, but I can’t say it’s “anti-American”. Juvenile yes, anti-American no.

So lets look at the other items this individual has on their truck. Sure it’s nice he owns a Chevrolet, given they are an American car company. Chevrolet does employ Mexicans via their plants in that country. Which is probably why this individual drives one, given the other items on his truck.

Now have a look at the large circular item on the truck that reads “ORGULLO MEXICANO”. That is Spanish for “Mexican pride”. If you think the immigrant driver of this truck has any dreams of being a proud American, that assimilates with our nation and relinquishes his allegiance with Mexico, you are sadly mistaken. Even former President George Washington speaks of the dangers of having allegiance to outside nations in his farewell address.

When I look at the images on many immigrants’ vehicles I see lots of “ORGULLO MEXICANO”, although they may not all display those exact words.

The other images on the truck are of a boy wearing a hat that is the Mexican flag and an image of the full Mexican flag waving.

What this means is that America is allowing immigrants that really don’t want to be fully American. Their true allegiance is to another nation and that will always compromise America’s dealings, because these individuals will continually impress their view on politicians.

I can’t say I know if the driver of the truck I’ve pointed out is a legal or illegal immigrant. But we do know that there are plenty of illegal immigrants in this nation and more coming daily. And aside from immigration status, there is little desire in some immigrants to actually be faithful to America and America alone. This means in the discussion to close America’s borders to illegal immigration, that we must also impress on legal immigrants that they much shun allegiance to other nations.

Because as more immigrants enter America, if they are not loyal solely to this nation. Then this nation is nothing more than an appendage of the “motherland” of the largest immigrant population.
