Terrell Pough’s Killers Claim it was a Drug Deal Gone Bad!

by @ 2:17 pm. Filed under Questionable Items

This article says it all. I’ll quote a little here in the name of fair-use, but you’ve got to click the link below and read it all for yourself.

2 tell of Pough slaying

The men accused of killing 18-year-old Terrell Pough – who had been featured in People magazine as an outstanding single father – were settling a drug-dealing debt, they told cops.

“Being business is slow sometimes, I gave Terrell about a week to sell at least half of it,” he said. “I started calling Terrell and he ain’t returning my calls and he ain’t answering his phone.”

Then, Riggins said, the supplier became impatient.

“That is when he gave me the option: Either you tell me where the boy be at or… I will get you,” Riggins said.

Homicide detectives and prosecutor Carmen Lineberger did not appear to doubt the veracity of either statement.

Pough’s mother – who was ushered from court yesterday screaming, “You mother——, you killed my son!” – said the drug allegations were untrue.

“That’s bull—-,” said Elizabeth Pough. “It’s a lie. It’s a lie. He was not involved in drugs.”

Although Terrell Pough got a lot of accolades, no flaws have been found in killers’ stories. As painful as it is to admit, the detectives who deal with these kinds of things on a regular basis are probably right. This whole thing is turning into another version of the Samuel McClain case. What can I say, all you can do is hang your head and pray the other kids out there trying to avoid trouble don’t dabble in anything illegal. Any kids reading this, you’ve got to avoid the dope and other mess 100%. Please be the square! Let folks say you’re “acting White” or whatever, but stay away from any of the mess as best you can.

I hope it is not true that Terrell Pough was a drug dealer, given the high hopes everyone had for him. But right now it does not look that way. The professionals on the case have no reason to doubt Terrell was into some dirt. Bottom line is that this is a lesson to any kids, that you can’t play in the dirt even a little bit and not expect it to catch up with you.

The killers are still low life trash and they still deserve death, before they are released and carry out similar activity again. I’m convinced even if they were given the Liberal option of “life in prison” that they would eventually escape or die in prison trying. The higher level dealer(s) in the chain, of course they need to be caught.

So I guess instead of, “Terrell Pough bent over backwards to help this piece of gutter trash”! The true story possibly is, the man who deals in garbage is bound to get his hands dirty. I’m not saying Terrell deserved to be killed, but I am saying that there are certain principles in life that one should never violate. Otherwise you increase the risk of bringing bad on yourself. Terrell it seems may have wanted to make a little extra money in a very deadly game and bad choices often lead to bad consequences.

Hat tip to Dennis over at Fire & Hammer, for sending in the tip of this latest tragic news.
