Herman Cain just announced that today’s show is the last he will broadcast from WGKA-AM and starting in February he will broadcast from a new flagship station.
I called in and asked the phone screener where he was going. She said he’s going to WSB-AM (as I suspected) and his show will be on Saturdays 5PM-7PM. He will also be Neil Boortz’s fill-in for 2006.
WSB-AM has the strongest signal you can get, which is much stronger than WGKA’s signal. Although I really like Salem’s Judeo-Christian Conservative format, I wish they had a stronger signal. I’m not sure how this will affect affiliates that carry Herman Cain’s show. He will be on for an hour less on Saturdays, but overall this is a good move for him. It will give his voice and message much more exposure. Plus I’m sure it will lead to even greater opportunities for him in the future.
