Samuel McClain may not be the innocent victim we thought he was

by @ 7:04 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Almost a month ago everyone was stunned at reports of Samuel McClain being beaten. A man in Milwaukee, WI who supposedly was beaten out of a random act of violence.

Well it turns out he probably was not as “innocent” a victim as we first thought. While the beating he received still was not at all deserved, reports now show that he was involved in a crack deal gone bad.

Mob Beating Not As It Appeared, Police Say

Court records quoted him as saying he was trying to buy crack and the beating was a drug deal gone bad.

Police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz originally said the beating happened after McClain honked at a group of youths to move and they then pulled him from his car and punched, kicked and jumped on him.

She said that the initial story came from witnesses, but that as authorities investigated further and talked to more people, they found out that was incorrect.

According to a criminal complaint, McClain told investigators he paid a man in a car $19 for crack, and the man took his money and drove off without giving him the drugs. McClain walked over to a large group of people and started complaining, and was jumped from behind and punched, kicked and stomped until he lost consciousness, authorities said. Some members of the group gave police similar stories.

In an Associated Press interview at his home Friday, McClain denied he tried to buy drugs.

The bottom line is this. The investigators have no reason to make up a story about this being a crack deal gone bad. But Mr. McClain has plenty of reason to claim it was not a crack deal when speaking with the media. He’s been receiving an outpouring of cards, letters and probably money. Who would want that gravy train to dry up? So I think Mr. McClain is not being honest.

What’s really messed up is that cases like this are a slap in the face to cases where truly innocent people are victims of crime. Like the murder of Terrell Pough.

Sure we all want the attackers in Mr. McClain’s case to still be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, but at the same time much of the sympathy for Mr. McClain is lost. And rightfully so. Because he was willing engaging in illegal activity with dope dealers and thugs. And anyone’s grandmother can tell them that when you deal with dope dealers and thugs bad things happen.

Democrats in that area want to try and fix the problem with “mob violence legislation”. If the judicial complex was prosecuting thugs and killers as they should, instead of going easy on them, that would be a better deterrent. If the death penalty were applied swiftly and more broadly in cases of murder, that would be a better deterrent. Because this is one “ism” many people avoid talking about. While some cry about “racism” and “class-ism” nobody talks much about thugism. It’s these low life gutter trash thugs that are the ones killing, raping and pillaging any community in their path! It’s what happens with a group of people collectively have an out of wedlock birth rate of around 70% (Black out of wedlock birth rate). And we all know that rates like this were far lower in times past when Blacks endured far worse. But now a culture of depravity has taken root and only propagates it’s self in many Black communities. With some Black children claiming that to do well in school is “acting White” and the cool thing to do is to try and be a thug and act like people in trashy music videos. This is not the result of racism or class-ism. Heck the numbers prove that Blacks were doing far better when they endured legislated racism and depression era class-ism. There is a moral decay that must be accepted as the true source and Jesus is the only cure. Because only light can penetrate the darkness of evil.

The article also mentions some of the other evil taking place in that area:

Several mob beatings have taken place in Milwaukee’s inner city in recent years. In 2002, more than a dozen people, mostly boys, chased a man through the streets and beat him to death with shovel handles, rakes and tree limbs.

A mentally ill man died after being beaten and robbed by a group in 2004. Six teens were charged; one was convicted, charges against four were dropped and one is awaiting trial.

Four days after that attack, a 14-year-old boy was kicked, punched and hit on the head with a piece of lumber after he exchanged words with a girl. He was in a coma for two weeks. Also that summer, four brothers were beaten by a group armed with bats, bottles, sticks and socks stuffed with canned food.

Police need to be allowed to crack down hard on thugs in these areas. No marches if the cops have to shoot one. No special reports on the race of each person they arrest. These streets need a clean up job and it’s a given it won’t be pretty! Not to mention the innocent victims need to become innocent gun owners.
