At the last day of Judge Samuel Alito’s Senate nomination hearing, there was a panel of judges and ABA lawyers that had nothing but great things to say about him. They totally shot down every single lie and trash comment made by Democrats against him during the hearing. (Foxnews reported much of this information during the show Special Report. And even if you saw that keep reading, because you know I’ve got more than that here.)

3rd Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Maryanne Trump Berry said:

And she was appointed by former Democratic President Bill Clinton. A female judge appointed by Bill Clinton gave him a glowing review and said nothing about him discriminating against women.

If she’s not proof of a judge on the political Left that thinks he’s good, how about Lyndon B. Johnson appointee, 3rd Circuit Senior U.S. Appeals Judge Ruggero J. Aldisert who said:

He also mentioned that Alito was one of the top judges he’s worked with on the 3rd Circuit.

Now if that’s not far enough to the Left to prove he’s good, retired 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Timothy Lewis openly states that he is very pro-choice. You can see his picture above on the left, when he was at an Amnesty International hearing on Racial Profiling. This guy is the definition of a Left Wing-Nut. Here’s what he had to say:

He also mentioned that Alito has no ideological bent and looks at nothing but the facts! I wonder if the NAACP talked with Judge Lewis before jumping to bash Alito? Probably not! Far Left race-baiting attorney Leo Terrell left the NAACP, after they attempted to bash Bush’s nomination of Carolyn Kuhl to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Because the NAACP is married to the Democratic party. The facts and what Black co-workers have to say about someone does not matter! All that matters to the NAACP is what the Democratic party says and from there they attempt to paint the target as a racist.

As I’ve mentioned before, Judge Alito has no reason to feel ashamed about his support of Concerned Alumni of Princeton. The group was against Affirmative Action and that is a good thing! My word, if Harvard does not ensure that only the best are allowed in the door, then who does? The most respected should only accept the best and not make any special entry points for people because of race or gender. Laura Ingraham was editor of their newsletter for a year. They would never hire a woman if they took issue with them. She like others has spoken of how the group is being totally misrepresented and quotes from articles are being used out of context. Even if someone who wrote in a newsletter was an idiot and said something dumb, that has nothing to do with Judge Alito. I get a whole lot of magazines every month. If an article in one of them says something stupid, does that mean I support the statement, when I may have never read the article? Of course not! Also, even if I read the article I may take that one writer to be a fool, maybe even raise a complaint and still keep getting the publication. Even if I say nothing at all, it does not mean I support the foolish statement. Also CAP supported having the ROTC remain on campus. While Radical Left Wing-Nuts fire bombed the ROTC building! Sam Alito was a member of the ROTC. Everyone saw this CAP-attack coming from Democrats and it is so weak, that it proves they had nothing on Alito. The American Bar Association (ABA) investigated and said:

It’s a shame that some people feel opposition to Affirmative Action means opposition to women and minorities. I’m Black and I don’t want a special program that gives me something extra for being born a Black man.

William A. Rusher, a former CAP leader had his private papers searched by demand of Senator Edward (I lost her in the lake) Kennedy and Alito’s name could not be found. CAP did not have an official membership roll back then. So being a “member” only means he probably subscribed to the newsletter. Personally I’m not against women’s colleges or men’s country clubs. I support men and women using separate rest rooms . But if you’re going to attack someone about their group affiliations and claim they were “against having women” (which they were not), your own hands better be clean. And once again, Senator Edward Kennedy’s hands are very dirty. He was a member of an all male club called “The Owl” while at Harvard and they did not admit women until forced to in the 1980s.

The ABA gave Judge Alito their highest rating and I must say I was surprised that they would, since they are a Liberal group. The ABA interviewed over 300 people, 130 of which were judges. And the ABA concluded he has no bias.

So the facts show beyond all reasonable doubt, that Sam Alito is a good man and not a bigot. It is a shame that the attacks from Democrats can be so harsh, that discussion of them made Alito’s wife cry. It just shows how massive of a mistake the Democrats made, by trying this line of attack and it blew back in their faces. Because even Liberal media sources showed Alito’s wife crying and how childish the Democrats are.
