DeKalb County, GA District 5 Commissioner Hank Johnson has announced that he will run against Cynthia McKinney in the Democratic Primary for Georgia’s 4th US Congressional District seat.

She has been beaten before, so it can happen again. Denise Majette, who beat McKinney in the 2002 Democratic Primary was not nearly as well known in Dekalb as Hank Johnson. Mr. Johnson represents the South side of Dekalb that is majority Black and a McKinney stronghold. Anyone that wins that Congressional seat will need South Dekalb in order to win. Mr. Johnson has a history that should sit well with voters in that area.

It would be nice to think a Conservative might be able to win this area, but that is going to take some time. Since many in that district still do not realize that Liberal policies are actually hurting them the worst. So one has to root for McKinney to go down in the Primary, as she has once before. Mr. Johnson has a unified family unit with children and wants to bring together the people of Dekalb. So his own personal life shows a level of standard and balance. I think voters will appreciate this.
He can win and I think he will be getting plenty of support.

Unless it’s found that Johnson supports infanticide (like McKinney does) he’ll most likely get my vote.
I live in McKinney’s district and I know I do not have any real representation in Washington. McKinney is a true nutcase and I’m sure she’s not taken seriously by her fellow Congressmen. As a result she is absolutely usless to the district unless you want a n empty headed bomb thrower instead of a Congressional Representative.
I can’t wait to see the debate between Johnson and McKinney. Should be good for a few laughs.

You know as well as I do that at the end of this election “Johnson will be attacked for not being Black”.
Please pray that he doesn’t have a White wife. That he never said a kind word to someone who is a Republican. That he has never visted the White House while Bush was in office – even for a public tour.
You know McKinney is going to talk about EVERYTHING but what is going on in the 4th District.
She only wins with the support of BLACK FOLKS who swear that THEY are gaining by McKinney being a stone in the shoe of the system.
Some people are part of the PERMANENT OPPOSITION. They define themselves by what they are AGAINST rather than what they stand for with evidence to prove that they work.
Sadly the people deserve what they vote for.
