And here we are looking at another case of what happens all over the nation all too often. To get a complete view of what happen I suggest reading this Philadelphia Inquirer article and then watching this video report. Basically this young man had dropped out of high school and had a daughter out of wedlock. At this point he had an epiphany of sorts. He decided to turn his life around, for the sake of being a good father to his daughter. He got custody of her, started to go back to school, worked hard and joined community based programs in his area to help in along the way. People Magazine recognized his efforts in their August 2004 edition. After that he was obviously a stand-out in his community. People sent him money, offered him jobs and FoxNews reported that someone had even given him a car. Well someone shot him in the head and he is now dead! FoxNews also reported that the car is now missing! Police are not certain at this point that robbery was the motive. They really are not sure why he was killed.
This may have been a gang initiation, jealousy or just flat out hate! But whatever the reason it is another example of the sad cycle I’ve been pointing out here. Those who try to do right are attacked and torn down by others! There is no man in a white sheet doing any of this. It is being done by the thugs that live in his own area and look just like him! It is the sad irony now taking place in many Black communities that Thomas Sowell pointed out when he mentioned:

Another senseless death in the neigborhood. Now this next statement is pretty cynical so you are free to scroll on if you are very sensitive.
Mr. Pough was in the process of “pulling himself up by his own bootstraps” (of course he was getting outside help but that tends to happen people see you helping yourself) which the mere mention of “bootstraps” produces howls and moans from the political left.
Mr. Pough seemed to be headed down the path of becoming another Starr Parker and probably was seen as being less and less “black” with each passing day. Perhaps his murderer thought he was performaning an act of mercy and sparing Mr. Pough from a life of being ostracized from the “true” African American community.

I guess Black folks are so numb to Black on Black crime that they keep quiet about it, while jumping up on the few occurrences when White person kills a Black man with or without racist intent?
Or could it be that way too many Black folks have a double-standard, that allows them to sleep comfortable when Blacks kill each other, but get angry when a White person does it?
You know I feel the lack of a major outcry is simply another example of the double standard. The double standard that is endorsed and promoted by the ACTORvists. If there was a major outcry against just 25% of the Black on Black murders a cultural shift against such activity would take root! I just wish I could get more folks to speak up with me!
Why should a Black man fear the Klan and a police officer that they feel is somehow “evil”, when every metric shows who is really killing Black people?! If Black people were outraged based on the numbers they’d be marching against the thugs and not worried much about other cases. Black people would be burning 50 Cent CDs, along with all other thug music! But there I go dreaming again!
