This nut was caught before he could kill anyone, but is 14 years enough? I don’t think so! If his name was Abdul and he was found doing this he’d have “Patriot Act” kicks all over his butt!

To me a terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist! I feel the Klan has a long enough history of terrorist acts, that they really are a terrorist organization. And I don’t see Daniel Schertz in any different light than an Al Qaeda member working in a bomb making factory! Or so-called “former” member, but to me once someone is in one of these groups I have trouble ever seeing them as an “ex” member of the group!

Ironically enough Daniel is a name with Jewish origins. If his name was Abdul, I don’t think Americans would find 14 years to be a suitable sentence and people would scoff at the plea deal! I don’t give him “points” for being caught before his work could kill anyone. I view him as a killer! He tried to fully carry out actions that would kill people and he was fully aware of that. If not for good work by law enforcement he would have been successful in his efforts! So personally I have no problem with a death sentence for him and other terrorists like him, that are caught trying to kill people! I know a case like this would never be a death penalty case, but I feel he should have received a sentence of no less than life in prison!

I dislike illegal immigration and want troops on the border. But nuts trying to murder illegal immigrants is totally wrong! A soldier defending a border is one thing, but this is just plain insane murder!
