Amy Goodman, have you no shame?!!! Tonight I decided to take a peek at what the Liberals were up to on the Freespeech Network. And I was shocked at what I saw!

Well initially I was not very shocked. They were showing footage from Rosa Park’s funeral. I figured, “oh OK that’s cool”. But then, things took a turn from mourning to sales pitch!!! Amy Goodman, anchor of the show Democracy Now! comes on. (It gets no more Liberal, Bush hating and Communist loving than this bunch and Amy is their queen!) She starts talking and I notice credit card symbols on the lower right corner of the screen. I don’t recall seeing them during the funeral footage. At this point I think “oh-oh, they’re using Rosa Parks as a fundraising tool…”. Amy goes on about how great Rosa Parks was. Then she says the following that I transcribed:

At this point my jaw drops. At least they waited longer than Apple Computer to use her in a pitch, but still this to me was terrible! With no break, going from Rosa Parks, to Emmit Till and his mother, STRAIGHT TO THE DONATION PITCTH !!!!

These nuts are playing on emotion and the death of an icon to fund their network! While church folks and others were paying Rosa Parks’ rent during some of her last years of life, these Liberals were nowhere to be found! But now in her death they are coming out of the woodwork to use her name to make money!!!

update (11/7/2005 4:34PM ET): Blog Booker Rising has discovered that even the funeral programs are being sold! I dare say that the accomplishments of Rosa Parks really did not mean much to anyone that can sell a program from such a historic funeral!
