A jury in Henry County, Ga., ordered businessman Joe Jeffrey Jr. to pay his stepdaughter $10 million in compensatory damages and $120 million in punitive damages. Don Keenan, a well-known Atlanta attorney and child advocate, represented Stephanie Harbison in her lawsuit.

“The jury wanted to send the message that Jeffrey is not welcome in Henry County or Georgia and its verdict will follow him wherever he goes,” said Keenan.

Jeffrey will soon be released from prison after serving five years.
