Civil Rights Pioneer Rosa Parks Dead At 92
A great American has passed away. I don’t think someone so great can be summed up in a simple post. But we all are better for her most triumphant of efforts! And she earned her rest with the Lord!
If you don’t know who Rosa Parks was, you can read one of the many bios about her.
Now I wonder if those pesky lawyers will allow her to rest in peace? I hope they are not still hounding her estate (what little there was) for money! That whole lawsuit was a sad use of a legend by some folks that simply wanted to line their pockets 
!

Not trying to steal any of Rosa Parks’ thunder, but it is important that people know she was not the first to take this stand by sitting down. Not even close to the first. Irene Morgan was the first to lead a successful fight in this area. Also Rosa Parks decided to do this after she saw other Black Women who had been arrested for not moving to the back of a bus. This was during her time working with the NAACP. The NAACP would not represent those other Black Women because they had moral issues such as out of wedlock children. (I didn’t want to take a shot in this post, but it’s true that the NAACP once had morality standards that they’ve unfortunately lost.)

Call her “the woman who refused to get up,” but I’m sure Rosa Parks had no idea what her tired feet and frustrating treatment would lead to on December 1, 1955.
What became known as the Civil Rights movement was bound to start soone…

Rosa Parks died today. She was 92. Parks was the civil rights leader who refused to move to the back of the bus and was arrested for disorderly conduct. It set off a firestorm that began the modern civil rights era that would see the end of Jim Crow….

Rosa Parks is dead, time to make a buck off her! Yuk!
I’ve always felt it was good to wait an obligatory 3 days after a death before using someone like a tool! Apple feels Rosa Parks is an exception and is already pimping her legacy in their ads.
