Conservatives Shelby Steele and Joseph C. Phillips floated a simply terrible idea on The Laura Ingraham Show this morning! But I should mention aside from that it was great to hear 2 Black Conservatives having a discussion with a radio show host. You will NEVER hear 2 Black Conservatives allowed to speak together free from attack on most “Black” radio stations and talk shows. Which is sad, given they have panels of mostly or all Black Liberals all the time.

The terrible idea was first mentioned by Joseph C. Phillips, then Shelby Steele chimed in to agree. Mr. Phillips said that while watching this weekend’s not so many march he felt that Black Conservatives should “bogart” their way into the program of such events. So that some Conservative points of view are also given. (He called it the Million Man March, I call this weekend’s Millions More March the “not so many” march .) I say this is about the worst idea I’ve heard from a couple Black Conservatives in many years! For Black Conservatives to want to actually join to be part of an event led by a low down racist like Farrakhan is simply insane! Stop trying to piggy back on his event because you know he’s got a few cameras! You are starting to sound like media hogs on the level of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton! Conservatives should work to have their own separate efforts. Let’s face it:

Of course not! Work to have a separate effort that is put “on tour” around the nation. To spread Conservative ideas to the masses. Stop trying to work with those YOU KNOW are evil!

Later in the discussion, Laura did suggest that they attempt to do something separate of their own, but that idea did not get much response from them.
