Sadly for many folks the money justifies anything. Sometimes some Blacks will blame non-Blacks that were running these record companies. But if you look at who runs the Urban music departments today there are many Black faces in charge of this mess. Also many people do not realize that when Mrs. Tucker took her issue to the record company excutives <a href="http://www.independentconservative.com/2005/09/30/bennett_support/" rel="nofollow">BILL BENNETT</a> WAS RIGHT THERE WITH HER BY HER SIDE!!! He was always working with her on the issue and he also was being attacked then along with her. See this article that mentions a commercial they made together http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05286/587711.stm Not to mention the community service work his wife does that helps many Black women. D - It is sad that in our community we have a group of people who are profiting greatly from pimping certain words and images to us that have attacked this great woman who's only goal was to not allow these pimps to have their way with our community and the images that are flowing into it. In today's world it is so true that "what was wrong is now right and what was right is now wrong". Sadly these very same people who are pulling the bricks out of the foundation one by one are the main one's complaining about how THE SYSTEM is screwing them and all of this is due to racism. The Black community don't need more "leaders". We need more people who are willing to TELL THE TRUTH. This was a woman of courage.
